The online Support Group will provide you with unwavering support, motivation and encouragement every step of the way to ensure you safely shed even the most stubborn of weight.

Now, you never have to feel alone as you get into the best shape and health of your life.

You're now part of a passionate community of other like-minded individuals who share your determination to lose weight, eat healthy, and make smarter lifestyle choices.

And when the going gets tough, you’ll receive the invaluable support you need to stay the course.

Everything discussed in the group is confidential. Individual identifying information is not to be shared outside the group.

Group members are encouraged to share their skills, insights, strengths and hopes, and to recognise that everyone in the group has experience and insights expertise in dealing with weight and health issues.

Group members are respectful of each other’s feelings, views and concerns at all times.

Group members are respectful of everyone’s right to participate equally in the discussion or not to participate, if that is their wish.

Group members are courteous to each other at all times. This includes not interrupting or talking while someone else is talking and listening attentively when another person is speaking.

Group members take responsibility for the success of this support group by maintaining their focus on the issues and coping strategies specific to the group and the topic being discussed.

Group members are encouraged to use ‘I’ statements so that everyone speaks in the first person


Here’s the thing… if nothing changes, then nothing changes. Right?

The group member understands that the role of the facilitator is not to provide health care, medical or nutrition therapy services; or to diagnose, treat or cure any disease, condition or other physical or mental ailment of the human body. Rather, the facilitator is a mentor and guide who has been trained in holistic health to help clients reach their own health goals by helping clients devise and implement positive, sustainable lifestyle changes.

The group member understands that the group facilitator is not acting in the capacity of a doctor, licensed dietitian-nutritionist, psychologist or other licensed or registered professional, and that any advice given by the facilitator is not meant to take the place of advice by these professionals. If the group member is under the care of a health care professional or currently uses prescription medications, the group member should discuss any dietary changes or potential dietary supplements use with his or her doctor, and should not discontinue any prescription medications without first consulting his or her doctor.

The group member has chosen to attend group meetings and understands that any information received during the meetings should not be seen as medical or nursing advice and is not meant to take the place of seeing licensed health professionals.


The group facilitator acknowledges that the group member takes full responsibility for the group member’s life and well being, as well as the lives and well-being of the group member’s family and children (where applicable), and all decisions made during and after this group meetings.

The group member expressly assumes the risks of the group, including the risks of trying new foods or supplements, and the risks inherent in making lifestyle changes. The group member releases the group facilitator from any and all liability, damages, causes of action, allegations, suits, sums of money, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, which the group member ever had, now has or will have in the future against the group facilitator, arising from the group member’s past or future participation in, or otherwise with respect to, the group, unless arising from the gross negligence of the group facilitator.


The group facilitator will keep the group member’s information private, and will not share the group member’s information to any third party unless compelled to by law.
